giving hedgehugs since 2016

Linus is an African Pygmy Hedgehog, with Algerian Grey coloring. That day at Granite State Hedgehogs in Ashland, NH, he was a little larger than the other six week old hedgies I saw. They all looked like little sea urchins at the bottom of a tide pool. After several minutes of watching, he unrolled from his ball and came to the edge of the pen and looked up at me. Big ears, and an adorable face. And he was a cuddler. Linus and I instantly connected, and he came home with me that day. 

I'm a native of the White Mountains of New Hampshire, a graduate student, and a first-time hedgehog owner.
