2 Months Old

güsh güsh is two month old this week!

In honor of this milestone, we decided on a first bath. Linus is not a fan. He purrs to be removed from the sink, which is too adorable to handle. But bathe he must, which resulted in the fluffy Linus photo in the gallery. Fluffy pricklepants.

Around this time in the hedgie life, the second round of quills usually start appearing. Much pickier I might add. By the time Linus is a full grown hog, he will have around 6,000 quills! He's already gotten so much bigger, and has a güshier belly (hence the nickname). I think he will be a larger than normal hedgehog, but who knows.

In the past week, I ordered a new wheel for Linus. Hedgehogs must have the "giant" sized wheel so that they don't injure the spine. And this jumbo sized wheel makes jumbo sized noise as well. I think he ran about the same mileage as Levi last night. All is well.
