Linus the Grad School Hedgehog

Linus has had many titles in his life, and now he's expanding.

He won't be earning a post-graduate degree, however he will be helping his Mama with that by becoming an emotional-support animal. There's such a taboo associated with the words "emotional support" that I would love to dispel some myths. Linus is not becoming a "seeing-eye dog". He is simply being Linus. According to nsarco.com, "it is the very presence of the animal that mitigates the negative symptoms associated with a person's disorder". My hedgie alleviates my anxiety, and what better place to do it than at my doctoral program!

So Linus and I are starting a new chapter, and I hope this brings lots of opportunities for learning, bonding, and photos. Thanks for all the support!
